Savanah Roberts
Savanah has been studying and loving dance since 2002. She started out at the Murray Ballet Center in Murray, Utah strictly training in Vaganova ballet techniques. In 2005 she moved to West Jordan, Utah and continued her training at Synergy Academy. She trained with Synergy Academy from 2005 to 2019. From 2016 to 2019 she was on the Copper Hill drill team where she helped her team accomplish three state titles. In February of 2018 she was crowned Miss Drill Utah. At the time she was the second dancer to ever receive this award as a Junior. While in high school, she assisted choreographers such as Shannon Mortenson, Joelle Banford, Brooke Pando, and Liz Imperio. Being able to work with these incredible choreographers and mentors has made her the choreographer she is today.
After graduating in 2019, Savanah studied with professional contemporary and ballet programs across the state. In 2020 she joined Junction Dance Company where she performed in professional productions, including Hollow’s Eve, Hypnopompic, Salt City, Zero Flux, and more. Savanah has trained professionally in ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, tap, house, Jazz Funk, hip-hop and breaking. She has been lucky enough to set choreography across the state and share her knowledge and love of dance with aspiring dancers. She now works as a professional dancer and Fire Artisan in Park City, Utah. She’s so excited for the future and so lucky to call Synergy her forever home.
