Miranda Squire

Miranda Squire has had a passion for dance and teaching ever since she was a little girl. While training in multiple dance genres, she zeroed in on the art of ballet. At the age of 14, she began training under German and Valentina Zamuel, dancers from the world-renowned Bolshoi Ballet, and previous ballet masters of the Royal Ballet. Additionally, Miranda studied under Ballet West, Utah Metropolitan  Ballet, and Arizona Ballet. Miranda danced at the highest collegiate levels and graduated from BYU with a BFA in dance, emphasis in ballet. During her university years, Miranda performed with Utah Metropolitan Ballet, UVU’s Repertory Ensemble, BYU’s Ballet Showcase Company and Theatre Ballet, and was accepted into the Danish Royal Ballet. Miranda has performed in many classical, modern, and neoclassical works, her favorite being Balanchine’s Serenade. Since graduation, Miranda has trained professionally with Chrysalis Ballet and received her Stott Pilates Mat Certification. She has been teaching ballet, jazz, pointe, and Pilates for over 8 years. Miranda is the current Dallet Director at Synergy Academy, where she continues to evolve and oversee the ballet curriculum of competitive dancers. Miranda’s eye for detail and dedication to her craft continues to elevate the students at Synergy. She has a love for teaching and helping each student individually reach their full potential.
