Melinda Anderson
Melinda Anderson found her passion for dance at 10 years old training in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. While in high school she was a member and officer on the dance company and was able to set choreography and work with other members to perfect and increase technique. Melinda was awarded the dance sterling scholar her senior year for her exceptional work in the art from.
After high school, Melinda was able to teach at multiple studios. She has been teaching at Synergy since 2012 and has loved every second. Melinda is the Rec Program Director and is passionate about teaching and guiding students of all ages and abilities. She teaches both rec and competition classes specializing in jazz, lyrical, ballet, tumbling, and cheer. Her choreography has received many recognition awards and overall high-point titles. She especially enjoys teaching the tiny dancers and loves helping them find their own passion and love of dance. Melinda’s favorite part about being a teacher is helping her students gain confidence in themselves and their own abilities.
Melinda’s choreography and private lessons are highly sought after and held in high esteem, making her an invaluable asset to the dance community. Through her dedication and expertise, Melinda continues to inspire and elevate the next generation of dancers.
