Jordan Williams

Jordan Williams grew up loving all things dance. She moved around a lot as a child and had the privilege of receiving her dance training from a variety of studios, learning from a wide range of teachers and instructors. She has trained extensively in jazz, lyrical, ballroom, ballet, hip hop, contemporary and tap. As a member and officer of Riverton Dance Company for three years, she was awarded dance and academic scholarships in college. Jordan received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a Severe/Profound Emphasis and a minor in modern dance from the University of Utah. During her time in college, she was on the ballroom team at Utah Valley University, the hip hop company at UVU, and the ballroom team at the University of Utah. She also co-founded and was the president of the Hip Hop company at the University of Utah for three years. Jordan also spent time training and assisting for the Los Angeles hip hop based studio Movement Lifestyle working with professionals such as Kyle Hanagami, Parris Goebel, Anthony Lee, and Markell Washington. 

Jordan has been teaching at Synergy Academy since 2017. Her choreography has received numerous recognition awards including Best Choreography, Best Direction, Most Entertaining, winning numerous overall titles. Additionally, for the past seven years, she has been training and studying to develop a specialized technique program focusing on safely improving jumps and leaps through height training and flexibility. She loves her Synergy family and loves teaching!
