JayCee has had dance in her life for as long as she can remember. She has been a part of Synergy with Shannon and Meghan since its inception. Growing up she trained in jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, and power tumbling.  During her time in high school, she had the opportunity to dance with Odyssey in their production of Thriller and was on her high school’s dance company.  JayCee has earned multiple scholarships, including Dance Sterling Scholar for Bingham High School. Furthermore, in her senior year of high school she joined Underground Dance Company where she would continue to perform with them for 7 seasons. Following her time with Underground Dance Company she also had the opportunity to dance with Oquirrh West Project for a season as an intern.  Prior to beginning her teaching career, she was an assistant at Synergy and has been teaching since 2013.  Her transition from performer to teacher reflects her passion for sharing her knowledge and nurturing the next generation of dancers. JayCee has always had an intense passion for dance. From training with Synergy and participating in numerous dance styles to earning prestigious awards and performing with various companies, she has clearly dedicated a significant portion of her life to dance.  When JayCee is not teaching she loves spending her time with her husband and two children.
