After high school Dance Company and 10 years of studio dance, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance with a Modern emphasis from Utah Valley University In 2014. She was the Dance Department Student Representative and Intern and won Outstanding Student of the Year while at UVU. She also enjoyed performing with UVU’s elite dance companies, Contemporary Dance Ensemble and Synergy for 3 years where she danced solo parts and group works of renown companies and choreographers including Utah’s best, RDT and Ririe Woodbury.
Hannah loves to choreograph and is fascinated with quirky out-of-the-norm movement. She has done choreographic residencies at multiple private studios and public education programs in Utah and Oklahoma the last 9 years. Specifically her favorite, Liaison for 2 years with the national scholarship arts program at Quartz Mountain in Oklahoma. She has choreographed many award winning pieces for festivals and competitions in the Southern and Western United States. Teaching is close to her heart and you can always find her “talking shop” about the kinesiology of technique, body care, or injury prevention. This is Hannah’s 5th year with Synergy and currently teaches Technique, Acro, Ballet, and Lyrical and Contemporary choreography. She loves that there is always so much going on and so many different opportunities at Synergy.
When she is not dancing, Hannah loves to do anything outdoors, breed and raise Labrador Retrievers, explore other arts, and spend time with her husband Reuben and her 20 month old baby Reed.
