Cheer & tumbling have been my passion for as long as I can remember!

I cheered at Kearns high school & was the head cheerleader my senior year. I cheered at Mac’s All Star where I also subbed as a coach in cheer &  privates in tumbling when I wasn’t in school. My favorite memory to date was getting to perform on stage during one of the 2002 Olypmic medal ceremonies with Nellie Fertado in Salt Lake City. I also made the UNLV Cheer Team 2005 & then I left to serve and LDS Misson.

I have 3 dancers on company at Synergy & during covid my passion for coaching was reignited while I helped my daughters achieve their tumbling goals while they were unable to attend Synergy. I started coaching at Synergy in 2021. I am so grateful to have the perspectives as a cheerleader, a coach, and a mom. It has elevated my understanding on so many different levels. I have a degree in health sciences which has helped me gain a strong belief in proper technique & body mechanics to help prevent injury & get the most out of our bodies. I struggled as an athlete with mental blocks & anxiety which has help me coach my own children through their sensory processing disorders, anxiety, & ADHD. The most important thing I have found is that our althletes/dancers feel validated, loved, & believed in. Once that foundation is built, they trust their coaches to push & build them. When I am not coaching my favorite thing to do is spend time with my five beautiful kiddos & husband.
