Alexa has been passionate about dance since age 2. She trained under many incredible teachers and styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, ballet, and tumbling. She found her niche when she became a member of her high school drill team where she won regional and state titles, Miss Drill Utah accolades, and many national awards. Straight out of High School, she went on to coach the Drill Team at Hillcrest and then Copper Hills where she won 2 more state titles. This is where she first began working alongside Shannon and Meghan.  Alexa enjoys sharing her love of dance and drill with her students and peers. She has been teaching at Synergy for 7 years specializing in technique and acro. Alexa created the Drill Prep program at Synergy, successfully helping countless dancers make their high school drill team.  Alexa hopes to continue growing the Drill Prep program at Synergy and teaching kids about the uniqueness of Utah Drill Team while building strong technique for dancers and creating a fun, energetic, inviting environment in her classes for her dancers. When Alexa isn’t dancing she is managing a busy household with 3 little kids, her dog, and her husband.
